Basic Share Savings Account
To establish your Capitol Region FCU membership, you need only to open a new Share account and maintain a $5 minimum balance. The $5 minimum balance constitutes your "membership" share and makes you eligible to apply for all credit union services.
This account is similar to a regular savings account: you can deposit as much as you like and withdraw funds as often as you like. There are no fees to establish or maintain your share savings account.
Your account is federally insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) for up to $250,000.
Holiday & Vacation Clubs
Holiday and Vacation clubs allow you to deposit as much as you like, whenever you like, to save up for some of life's special events. There are no fees, no withdrawal or minimum balance limitations, and no penalties for early withdrawal. To save time and maximize convenience, you can easily arrange to make regular deposits through direct deposit/payroll deduction.
Club account balances are transferred once a year to participating members' basic share accounts. Transfer dates are May 1 for Vacation Clubs and November 1 for Holiday Clubs. Stop by and open your club account today!
