Basic Share Account
To establish your Capitol Region FCU membership, you need only to open a new Share account and maintain a $5 minimum balance. The $5 minimum balance constitutes your "membership" share and makes you eligible tp apply for for all credit union services.
This account is similar to a regular savings account and you can deposit and withdraw your funds as often as you like. And there's no maintenance or other fee to establish or maintain your account.
Your account is Federally Insured by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) for up to $100,000.
Christmas & Vacation Clubs
Deposit as much as you like, whenever you like to save for some of life's special events. There are no withdrawal or minimum balance limitations, and there's no penalty for early withdrawal.
Each account is transferred once a year to the members' basic share accounts. (Transfer dates are May 1 for Vacation Clubs and November 1 for Christmas Clubs. Stop by and open a club account today!!
