GAP Advantage Protection is only $249...Save $$$
Consider the benefits of purchasing GAP Advantage protection when you finance your vehicle through Capitol Region. GAP pays the difference (the "gap") when an outstanding vehicle loan balance is more than the insurance proceeds paid for a vehicle that's stolen or damaged beyond repair. Our GAP Advantage plan can also reduce the cost of a replacement vehicle by $1,000.
GAP Advantage Example: A member purchases a vehicle for $25,000 and buys our GAP Advantage plan while financing the vehicle with CRFCU. One year later, the vehicle is totaled: the loan balance is then $20,000, but the vehicle's insured value is only $17,000. GAP will pay the $3,000 difference. And the member will also receive another benefit from his/her GAP Advantage plan: a $1,000 payment to reduce the principal amount of the Capitol Region loan on the vehicle purchased as a replacement for the totaled vehicle.
GAP Advantage from Capitol Region costs only $249; GAP from auto dealers is usually more expensive, often costing up to $700 or more...and GAP plans through auto dealers typically do not include our GAP Advantage's $1,000 that reduces the cost of a replacement vehicle.
Green Auto loans Cost Even Less
Members can save even more with our "Green Auto" loans for certain fuel-efficient, hybrid and environmentally friendly passenger vehicles with an EPA combined rating of 30 MPG (Miles Per Gallon) or higher; and for specific ethanol E85 flex-fuel passenger vehicles.
