Membership Eligibility: Who Can Join Capitol Region?
Individuals are eligible to join Capitol Region if they are employed by, retired from or affiliated with any of the businesses, municipalities and organizations (listed below) with whom we have relationships. Our charter from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) enables us to easily establish relationships with employers and other organizations that request us to provide credit union membership eligibility as a benefit for their employees, volunteers and/or members.
Immediate family and permanent household residents of Capitol Region members are also eligible to join.
Capitol Region now provides the benefit of membership eligibility to 100+ groups. New groups of all sizes are welcomed. There is no employer cost or obligation, and the only paperwork is our non-financial 10-Minute Eligibility Request.
Interested groups are encouraged to contact Gerry Whitehead, Membership Development Manager, 860/513-4024 x209, or gwhitehead@capitolregionfcu.org for assistance in arranging eligibility for their employees, members and/or volunteers.
